Overview

The 5 days tour in Uganda starts and ends in Kampala. The trip takes you to two national parks, probably the best parks in Uganda. First the trip takes you to Murchison falls national park, the largest park in Uganda with a wide diversity of wild animals ranging from lions, Oribis, buffaloes, elephants, warthogs to Uganda Kobs and many others. The park’s flagship is in the world’s most powerful waterfall that dwells here.

The safari then transfers you to Kibale forest national the primate capital of the world with more than 400 primate species. The dominant feature here are the chimps that live in Kibale forest and several primate species like the baboons, monkeys plus other forest mammals like elephants.

Day 1

Early morning after breakfast, we shall head for Murchison falls national park popularly known for its varsity of wildlife species that dwell there. It is the largest park in Uganda and homes a total sum of over 70 different mammal species.

On the way, pass by Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the white Rhinos. This is the very best place to go if you want to see rhinos on your Uganda safari. See the white Rhinos up close on feet and spend some time with them as they are not dangerous animals if the instructions are followed.

Have lunch in Masindi town and continue to Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2
Day 2: Morning game drive and Launch cruise at the Victoria Nile

Have breakfast and undertake a game drive around the park. You will spot different wildlife species ranging from lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, oribis, warthogs and many others. Have strenuous views of the beautiful landscape covered by savanna grassland.

After lunch, have an afternoon launch cruise at the Nile and see its banks covered with crocodiles, hippos and elephants. Also spot several bird species and clear views of the Murchison falls which is the most powerful waterfall in the world.

Day 3
Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning, have breakfast and checkout. Transfer to Kibale national park. This being a long journey we shall set off in the morning, have a lunch stopover in Hoima town and proceed to Kibale.

You will have beautiful sceneries of the western hills and nice photography back grounds. Pass through the Albertine escarpments on the way to Kibale forest national park.

Day 4
Day 4: Chimpanzee Tracking - Kibale Forest

After an early breakfast head to the park headquarters for a simple briefing about the rules and regulations of chimp trekking in Kibale national park by the park ranger.

Enter into the profuse jungle to hunt down the chimps and have a moment with our next cousins in the forest. On the chimp search come across other different primates like the blue and red tailed monkeys, L’Hoests, and Colobus monkeys and perhaps the forest elephants.

Day 5
Day 5: Departure

Have breakfast at leisure, embark on a transfer back to Kampala thereafter.En-route lunch will be served in Mubende town; on the way, enjoy great views of the forested plantations of Mityana and interesting settlement patterns that dot this place.

Drop off will be at the hotel or at the airport depending on the schedule.
