The trip takes you to Murchison falls national park; the largest national park in Uganda with vast wildlife species mounting to more than 75 mammal species, including the buffaloes, elephants, lions, warthogs, leopards, antelopes among others.

The trip also passes by Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to track the rhinos on foot and get real up close encounters with these critically endangered species. While in the park, you will have game drive, launch cruise on the Nile and also a community walks in the neighboring communities.

Day 1
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Have an early breakfast, be picked by our experienced guide and then depart for Murchison falls national park; the largest park in Uganda. The park encloses the famous Murchison falls and hence its name.

This is the most powerful waterfall in Uganda on the Nile River. The park has beauty that is incomparable with over 75 different mammal species calling it home. It offers awesome game drive experiences and the best launch cruises that expose travelers to huge numbers of the aquatic wildlife.

You will stop at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary to have a chance to track these huge land mammals on foot. Have real close encounters with the Rhinos. From here, proceed to Masindi town for lunch and then drive directly to the park.

Day 2
Day 2: Morning game drive and a launch cruise at the Nile

Having had a delicious breakfast, embark on the drive through the park. Murchison falls national park being the largest park offers awesome game drive experiences that expose travelers to countless chances of spotting various wildlife species.
The park is a home to more than 75 mammal species and on a game drive, chances are that you spot 80% of the wildlife here. The elephants, waterbucks, warthogs, hyenas, buffaloes, oribis, bushbucks, lions, leopards and many other species are guaranteed glances.
After lunch, cool off the warmth from the heavy breakfast on a launch cruise on Africa’s longest river, the Nile River. Have amazing views of the waterfalls, and banks evaded by numerous crocodiles, hippos and several sea bird species.

Day 3
Day 3: Chimp trekking in Budongo forest and Community encounter

Immediately after breakfast, head to Budongo Forest for briefing about chimp trekking from the local guide and start on the trek into the forest to search for these near cousins of humans. Walk through the forest, encountering different primate species like the baboons and monkeys.

Some trekkers are lucky enough to see the chimps in their first hour while others take even five hours, but when you meet the chimps, the trek becomes worth every step. See the chimps play from one tree branch to another. See how they feed and live in the forest, take as many pictures provided the camera doesn’t have a flash.

In the evening, visit the nearing communities to encounter with the local people to see the world through their eyes. A taste of the local cuisine is a guarantee except to those that don’t wish. Enjoy the traditional performance; music dance and drama as you relax your mind in the evening.
